This day-trip hot spring facility is located in a satoyama (traditional Japanese rural landscape) valley surrounded by the Akiyama River and Anjisawa River. The surrounding area is known to contain Neogene basalt, and the valley topography and igneous rock landscape serve as a base for learning about "water cycles (groundwater) and daily life."
