Request for the realization of the "Yamanashi Uenohara Geopark Concept"

Uenohara City is a town with many treasures that are not yet known nationwide, including its rich nature, a history that has continued uninterrupted since the Jomon period, and local specialty products that are produced and consumed locally.

The "Yamanashi Uenohara Geopark Concept" is a town revitalization plan that connects these scattered treasures within the city through human movement, revitalizing the entire city by connecting "points" with "lines" and revitalizing the "surface."

The "Yamanashi Uenohara Geopark Concept" embodies the Uenohara Future Strategy's belief that fostering local pride (i.e., a love for Uenohara) among the children of Uenohara, who will be the next generation, will be the driving force behind the revitalization of Uenohara.
